  • Olympian shooter Manu Bhaker clinched the 25m pistol bronze medal at the ISSF Pistol/Rifle World Cup to take India's medal tally to seven, including a gold.
  • Manu, a multiple world cup medal winner shooter, had shot 290 in the precision round yesterday and entered day 2 of the competition.
  • In the rapid round, Bhaker again shot three superb series of 98,99, and 97 to score 294 and to place herself at number 3.
  • Germany’s Doreen (30 points) and china’s Ziyue Du (29 points) has won the gold and silver medal.
  • China topped the medal table with 10 medals including six gold, two silver and two bronze medals. India finished second in the men's 10m air pistol with the lone gold won by Sarabjot Singh and a silver and four bronze medals.
  • Germany is third with one gold and one silver each while Hungary is fourth with two silver medals. 
  • Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, USA and Switzerland are the other medal winners.
