The state government has launched the Rahveer Scheme to incentivize good Samaritans who assist accident victims, promoting a culture of kindness and community support.
The scheme offers a reward of Rs 25,000 to individuals who help transport accident victims to medical facilities. The initiative aims to reduce road fatalities in a state that reported over 54,000 accidents in 2022.
