  • Lt Gen Lakhera, commissioned into 4 SIKH LI in 1990, has held various key positions, including division officer at NDA, deputy military advisor, and Inspector General of AR (north) at Kohima.
  • He is a postgraduate from Defence Service Staff College, Wellington, has completed the Higher Defence Management Course from the College of Defence Management, Secunderabad, and the National Defence Course from The Royal College of Defence Studies, London.
