  • Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, the Lokpal Chairperson, launched 'LokpalOnline,' a digital portal for complaint handling that can be accessed by all inhabitants of the country and complaints can be lodged from anywhere and at any time.
  • 'LokpalOnline' is an end-to-end digital solution for managing public servant complaints filed under the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013.
  • The major goal of Lokpal is to rid the country of the corruption plague and to develop a strong and corruption-free India.
  • In March 2019, Justice Ghosh was appointed as the country's first Lokpal.
  • The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, established the Lokpal to investigate and probe claims of corruption against public officials.
