The birth anniversary of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan is celebrated every year on 11 October.
He was born on 11 October 1902 AD in Bihar.
After India's independence, he left Congress in the year 1948.
In the year 1954, he dedicated his life to Vinoba Bhave's Bhoodan Yagya movement.
On June 5, 1974, he called for 'total revolution' against Indira Gandhi.
Sampoorna Kranti Diwas is celebrated on 5th June.
The entire revolution was against corruption in public life.
In the year 1999, Jai Prakash Narayan was posthumously awarded Bharat Ratna.
