Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will lead the Indian parliamentary delegation to the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) scheduled from October 5–12, 2025, in Bridgetown, Barbados. The event will focus on key themes, including financial transparency in elections. Ahead of the conference, Birla held a preparatory meeting with presiding officers of legislative bodies across India. The Indian team will include Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, along with presiding officers and secretaries of various state and Union Territory legislatures.
