  • Nauseda, who is not affiliated with any political party, emerged victorious despite facing tough competition.
  • Gitanas Nauseda first assumed office as President of Lithuania in 2019 after winning the presidential election against Ingrida Simonyte. 
  • His victory in the 2024 election marks his second term in office, as per the Lithuanian constitution, which limits presidents to serving a maximum of two terms, each lasting five years.
