  • India's legendary squash player Raj Manchanda passed away at the age of 79. 
  • Raj Manchanda, a six-time national squash champion and Arjuna awardee, led India from 1977 to 1982 and won an unprecedented 11 titles for the Army. 
  • Manchanda represented India in Asian Championships and international tournaments and made headlines in 1981 when he faced the legendary Jahangir Khan at the Asian Championships.
