Famous Gujarati singer and musician Purushottam Upadhyay passed away on 11 December 2024 at the age of 90.
A recipient of the Gujarat Gaurav Award and Padma Shri, Upadhyaya left an indelible mark in the world of music, leaving an impact beyond Gujarat with compositions in over 20 films and 30 plays and establishing deep resonance in the Gujarati community around the world.
