Senior IAS officer Lav Aggarwal has been appointed as Director General of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), according to an order issued by the Personnel Ministry following approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
In the same bureaucratic reshuffle, Rabindra Kumar Agarwal, currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, has been appointed Chairman and Managing Director of the Food Corporation of India (FCI). He replaces Ashutosh Agnihotri, who has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
