Terming his behaviour “irresponsible”, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday expelled his eldest son and Hasanpur MLA Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for six years.
Sources said that Mr. Tej had on Saturday announced on social media that he had been “in a relationship for 12 years” with a woman.
Later, the post was not found, and Mr. Tej claimed that his Facebook page had been “hacked”.
He did not file any police complaint with regard to the “hacking” of his social media account.
In 2018, Mr. Tej and Aishwarya Rai, granddaughter of former Chief Minister of Bihar Daroga Prasad Rai, filed for divorce within five months of their wedding.
