Kumud Saini won the only individual gold medal for India at the Archery Asia Cup 2024 Stage 3 in Suwon, South Korea, by defeating South Korea's Park Yerin 143-140 in the women's compound final.
The Indian archery team finished the competition with a total of five medals—one gold, two silvers, and two bronzes, with Kumud Saini contributing to three of these medals.
At 17, Kumud Saini was the sole individual medalist for India, excelling in both individual and team events, and adding to her achievements with medals in the women's and mixed compound team categories.
