US President Donald Trump concluded his two-day visit to Kuala Lumpur after attending the 47th ASEAN Summit, his first Malaysia visit since returning to office in 2025. During the trip, he and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim signed a Reciprocal Trade Agreement and launched a Strategic Partnership on technology, energy and critical minerals. Trump also witnessed the signing of the historic KL Peace Accord between Thailand and Cambodia, aimed at resolving long-standing border disputes under Malaysia’s ASEAN chairmanship.
