KIIT University student Dilushi Herath won the IET India Scholarship Award 2024 for her project based on sustainable energy in healthcare.
Their project uses a portable biogas digester equipped with nanotechnology to convert food waste into clean energy.
Selected from among 65,000 applicants, he was awarded a prize of Rs 3 lakh and IET membership.
