Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh has approved Rs 100 crore under the Chief Minister's Social Security Scheme (CMSSS).
The scheme targets elderly citizens aged 60 years and above, widows, and persons with disabilities (divyang jan) by providing them with financial assistance through pensions.
Approximately 80,000 individuals in Arunachal Pradesh are expected to benefit from this allocation, enhancing social security measures as part of the state government's flagship programme initiated in 2019.
