On June 24, the Kerala Assembly unanimously passed a resolution for the second time in a year, requesting the Indian Central Government to change the state's name in the Constitution from "Kerala" to "Keralam."
The resolution is led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, aiming to align the constitutional name with the Malayalam term "Keralam."
The plan received unanimous support from the Kerala Assembly, reflecting a collective push to officially recognize the state's name as "Keralam."
