Assam’s Kaziranga Tiger Reserve has recorded the third-highest tiger density in India, as per the latest 2024 report released by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Global Tiger Day. The reserve, covering 1,307.49 sq. km, now hosts 148 tigers, with notable increases due to the inclusion of the Biswanath Wildlife Division.
