Kathmandu has been identified as the most polluted city globally according to IQAir, an organization measuring real-time pollution in 101 cities worldwide.

The Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal has issued an advisory urging residents to wear masks due to the alarming increase in air pollution levels in the Kathmandu valley.
Following Kathmandu, cities like New Delhi, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Bangkok, and Dhaka are also listed among the most polluted cities, highlighting the widespread issue of air pollution in various regions.
