  • The report analyses 16 Indian states, which together account for 90 percent of the country's annual power requirement, across four dimensions.
  • Gujarat lags behind Karnataka in decarbonizing its power sector. Haryana and Punjab have shown promising preparation and implementation for the electricity transition.
  • States like West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh lag far behind in this area.
