K.P. Sharma Oli was sworn in as Prime Minister of Nepal for his fourth term on 15 July 2024.
Oli replaced Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who lost the trust vote in the House of Representatives on June 12, and led the new government with the support of the Nepali Congress.
Oli must seek a vote of confidence from Parliament within 30 days of his appointment, in which he would need at least 138 votes in the 275-seat House of Representatives.
