President Ram Nath Kovind has named Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra as acting Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court, based on the Chief Justice of India's recommendations.
Justice Mishra is one of the senior-most Judges of the Uttarakhand High Court.
He will take over as the acting Chief Justice in place of Chief Justice of the High Court Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan.
