The Indian pacer will make his grand return in international cricket by donning the role of captain in the series starting August as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Bumrah has returned to international cricket after a long injury layoff.
The BCCI's senior selection committee announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland to be played in Dublin from the 18th of August.
