Japan successfully launched a small, low-cost Epsilon rocket and put nine satellites into orbit with its help.
The Epsilon-5 rocket took off from the Uchinoura Space Center in Kagoshima's southwestern prefecture.
The diameter of this rocket is 2.6 meters, length is 26 meters and weight is 96 tons.
The nine satellites were created by private companies and enterprises, with one created in collaboration with ten national institutes of technology.
Epsilon, a constellation of seven satellites, was launched by JAXA in 2019.
