Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a high level committee to get information about illegal foreigners living in the state.

Recently, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a high level committee to get information about illegal foreigners living in the state.
This committee is headed by Additional Chief Secretary R. Of. Will be done by Goyal.
Apart from this, senior officials of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CID will also be included in the committee.
The aim of this committee is to identify Rohingya Muslims, foreign nationals of Bangladesh and families of surrendered terrorists living in Kashmir.
Based on the report of the committee, the Jammu and Kashmir government will create a data bank of all foreign nationals and people living illegally.
This committee will identify foreign nationals living illegally in Jammu and Kashmir from January 1, 2011.
The committee will submit its report to the Union Home Ministry.
