  • Jaipur Military Station inaugurates India's second plastic waste road, following Narangi Military Station in Guwahati, Assam, on June 26, 2024, led by Major General R S Godara.
  • The 100-meter plastic road, constructed with the help of Deep Constructions Pvt Ltd, is more durable, suffers less wear and tear, reduces water induction, and increases sustainability compared to conventional roads.
  • In line with the Indian Army’s sustainable and green policies, the use of plastic waste in road construction helps tackle the mounting plastic waste problem in India by repurposing non-biodegradable materials that would otherwise contribute to pollution.
