Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has launched 'Bitchat', a peer-to-peer messaging app that operates using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh networks. Designed with privacy in mind, the app enables encrypted communication without the need for Wi-Fi or cellular networks. Currently available to iPhone users via TestFlight, it allows direct message transfer across localised device clusters.
