  • Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister, has announced a slew of new programmes and initiatives for Jammu and Kashmir.
  • For women's empowerment, the J&K Tejaswini Scheme, run by Mission Youth, and the J&K Trade Promotion Organization's Hausla Scheme have both been introduced. J&K Bank will carry out both of these projects.
  • The J&K Tejaswini Scheme 2021 aims to provide financial support of up to Rs 5 lakh to young women for the purpose of establishing profitable self-employment companies that are tailored to their talents, aptitude, and local conditions.
