  • ISRO has successfully conducted qualification tests of the Cryogenic Engine for Gaganyaan human space programme.
  • The test has been conducted by ISRO Propulsion Complex in Tamil Nadu for a duration of 720 seconds.
  • This engine will be used in the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark III launch vehicle.
