ISRO is gearing up for a high-activity phase as it advances flagship missions including Chandrayaan-4, India’s first lunar sample-return mission approved for a 2028 launch. The agency has seven more launches lined up this financial year, along with India’s first industry-built PSLV. Preparations continue for the 2027 Gaganyaan crewed mission and an Indian Space Station targeted for 2035. With rising private-sector participation, India aims to significantly boost its share in the global space economy.
