ISRO's latest earth observation satellite 'EOS-08' was launched by Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)-D3 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The primary objectives of the EOS-08 mission are to design and develop a microsatellite, build payload devices created with microsatellite bus, and incorporate new technologies required for future operational satellites.
