The Iran government has approved a visa-free policy for Indian nationals.
This policy will be valid for tourism purposes only. With this exemption, Indian citizens holding ordinary passports can enter Iran without a visa once every six months for a maximum stay of 15 days.
If Indian nationals wish to stay for longer duration or make multiple entries within a period of six months or require other types of visa, it is mandatory to obtain the required visa through the relevant representation of Iran in India.
