International Tolerance Day is celebrated every year on 16 November in the country.
The purpose of International Tolerance Day is to stop the increasing atrocities, violence and injustice in the world and to make people aware of tolerance and tolerance.
It inspires to be tolerant on religious grounds.
The year 1995 was declared the International Year of Tolerance by the United Nations General Assembly.
Celebrating this day was started by the United Nations General Assembly in the year 1996.
'UNESCO Madanjit Singh Award' for non-violence and tolerance is given by the United Nations General Assembly.
The theme of International Tolerance Day 2023 has been kept as 'Tolerance: The path to peace and reconciliation'.
