International Migrants Day is observed globally on 18 December every year.
International Migrants Day highlights the significant contribution of migrants across the world and underlines the importance of promoting their rights, well-being and social integration while addressing challenges such as job security, health and human rights.
The theme for International Migrants Day 2024 is 'Honouring the Contributions of Migrants and Respecting Their Rights', according to the World Health Organization.
