Every year on November 19, International Men's Day is observed to honor and celebrate men's cultural, political, and social achievements.
The day also honors the achievements of young men and women, as well as their services to their country, union, society, community, and family.
The objectives of celebrating International Men’s Day are set out in ‘All the Six Pillars of International Men’s Day.
One of the six pillars of International Men's Day is to improve gender relations and promote gender equality not only for men but also for women.
The theme for International Men's Day 2021 is "Better relations between men and women."
Thomas Oaster first proposed International Men's Day in 1991, and it was first observed on February 7th, 1992.
