International Internet Day is celebrated every year on 29 October to highlight the importance of the Internet and enhance its positive effects.
The first electronic message was sent between two computers in the year 1969.
At that time, the Internet was called ARPANET or Advanced Research Projects Agency Network.
The first message on the Internet was sent by University of California student Charlie Kline on October 29.
