  • The International Day of Human Fraternity has been observed every year on February 4.
  • The International Day of Human Fraternity was established by the United Nations General Assembly on December 21, 2020.
  • This day, which falls in the middle of the International Interfaith Harmony Week is recognised by one of the world’s leading transnational organisations– the United Nations.
  • The motto of International Day of Human Fraternity is “harmony in difference.”
  • On December 21, 2020, the United Nations General Assembly, through a resolution co-sponsored by the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, declared February 4 as the day.
  • The first program was organized on February 4, 2021.
