The International Conference of National Human Rights Institutions in November, 2023 was recently held in Denmark.
It was organized in Copenhagen, Denmark.
It was the 14th edition of the International Conference of National Human Rights Institutions.
The theme of the conference was 'Practical Perspectives on Security: Complaints, Investigations, Access to Justice and Reparations'.
The conference was attended by Justice Arun Mishra, Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission of India.
During this session, Justice Mishra provided information about Indian jurisprudence and the practices that have evolved within both the judiciary and the NHRC over the years.
The conference discussed the important role of these institutions in combating and preventing torture and ill-treatment.
It was organized by the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions.
