Every year on October 28th, International Animation Day is observed to celebrate the art of animation and to recognise the artists, scientists, and technicians who make it possible.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of International Animation Day.
The day was established in 2002 by the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA), a UNESCO member organisation.
