Indian Naval Ship Trikand arrived at Mombasa Port, Kenya on April 7, 2026, as part of its deployment in the South West Indian Ocean Region.
The visit coincides with the tour of Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command.
Professional, cultural and social engagements will be held during the stay.
Essential stores will be handed over to the Kenya Defence Forces.
On departure, INS Trikand will conduct a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the Kenya Navy.
The port call supports India’s MAHASAGAR vision for maritime cooperation and regional security.
