The indigenously built INS Sahyadri, a Shivalik-class stealth frigate, participated in the Sea Phase of JAIMEX-25 and made a port call at Yokosuka, Japan. The exercise included anti-submarine warfare, missile defence drills, flying operations, and joint replenishment, enhancing India-Japan naval interoperability. The Harbour Phase featured cross-deck visits, operational planning, and cultural exchanges, reinforcing the strategic maritime partnership and India’s commitment to self-reliant defence capabilities.
India will establish four advanced quantum fabrication hubs worth ₹720 crore to boost quantum innovation and strengthen technological self-reliance.
