INS Delhi has been adjudged the Best Ship of the Eastern Fleet at the annual ‘Fleet Awards Function-2024’ held in Visakhapatnam.
On July 14, 2024, the Fleet Awards Function in Visakhapatnam honored the Eastern Fleet's tactical successes, naming INS Delhi as the Best Ship.
INS Kavaratti was recognized as the Best Ship in the category of Corvettes, OPVs, and LSTs, with INS Shivalik, INS Sumedha, and INS Sumitra also praised for their outstanding performance.
Vice-Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Naval Command, was the Chief Guest at the event, organized by Rear Admiral Rajesh Dhankhar.
