  • INS Delhi has been adjudged the Best Ship of the Eastern Fleet at the annual ‘Fleet Awards Function-2024’ held in Visakhapatnam.
  • On July 14, 2024, the Fleet Awards Function in Visakhapatnam honored the Eastern Fleet's tactical successes, naming INS Delhi as the Best Ship.
  • INS Kavaratti was recognized as the Best Ship in the category of Corvettes, OPVs, and LSTs, with INS Shivalik, INS Sumedha, and INS Sumitra also praised for their outstanding performance.
  • Vice-Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Naval Command, was the Chief Guest at the event, organized by Rear Admiral Rajesh Dhankhar.
