Indian women wrestlers broke the dominance of Japan by winning the team title for the first time at the Under-17 World Wrestling Championships 2024. He scored 185 points and won five gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.
The Under-17 World Wrestling Championships 2024 took place from 19 to 25 August 2024 in Amman, Jordan. The championship was organized by United World Wrestling.
The Indian contingent won a total of 10 medals at the Under-17 World Wrestling Championships 2024 – 5 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze. Along with this, he did not win any medal in the men's freestyle event.
