  • The name of the railway has been recorded in the Limca Book of Records. Railways has received this honor for the large number of people involved in public service program at many places. 
  • On February 26 this year, more than 40 lakh 19 thousand people attended a program of Railway Ministry at more than two thousand places. 
  • The event was organised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate road works over railway bridges and lay the foundation stone of railway stations.
