The Indian Navy's Kalvari class submarine, INS Vela, arrived at Sri Lanka's Colombo port on November 10, boosting regional security and cooperation under India's SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region) initiative.
The visit of INS Vela, the 67.5 meter long and 53-member crew led by Commander Kapil Kumar, reinforces the friendship, cooperation, and interoperability between India and Sri Lanka.
