The Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron, including INS Tir, INS Shardul, INS Sujata and ICGS Sarathi, arrived at Phuket Deep Sea Port on 25 January 2026. The visit marks the ASEAN–India Year of Maritime Cooperation and reflects growing maritime ties between India and Thailand. During the port call, the Indian Navy and Royal Thai Navy will engage in professional exchanges, joint activities and a Passage Exercise. The visit underscores India’s commitment to regional maritime security and cooperation under the MAHASAGAR vision.
