  • Indian-American musicians Ricky Kej and Anoushka Shankar have been nominated for the 67th edition of the Grammy Awards.
  • A three-time Grammy winner, Cage is nominated for the fourth time in the Best New Age, Ambient or Chant Album category for "Break of Dawn".
  • Radhika Vekaria's "Warriors of Light" and entrepreneur-music composer Chandrika Tandon's "Triveni" are also nominated in the category. 'Triveni' was composed in collaboration with flute player Wouter Kellerman and cello player Iru Matsumoto.
  • Shankar has also received an additional nomination for the lead role in singer-songwriter Jacob Collier's song "A Rock Somewhere". The song also features singer Varijashree Venugopal. She has been nominated for the first time in this award.
  • The song "A Rock Somewhere" was nominated in the category of Best Global Music Performance.
