At the inaugural Asian Relay Championships 2024 in Bangkok, the Indian mixed 4x400m relay team, comprising Muhammad Ajmal, Jyothika Sri Dandi, Amoj Jacob, and Subha Venkatesan, won the gold medal and set a new national record.
The Sri Lankan team secured the silver medal with a time of 3:17.00, while Vietnam took the bronze with a time of 3:18.45.
