PV Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medalist from India, has been named to the Badminton World Federation's (BWF) Athletes' Commission.
The former world champion PV Sindhu, who is 26 years old, was named alongside five other members who will serve until 2025.
PV Sindhu, who earned a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, made history by winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics earlier this year.
PV Sindhu earned two silver medals, two bronze medals, and the coveted gold medal at the prestigious global championships in 2019.
