The Indian Air Force (IAF) celebrated its 93rd Air Force Day on 8 October 2025 at Hindon Air Base with a grand parade, flypast and displays of fighter jets like Rafale, Su-30MKI, MiG-29 and indigenous systems such as Netra AEW&C and Akash missiles. The event highlighted Operation Sindoor, honored IAF personnel for their service, and showcased India’s air mobility with aircraft like C-17 Globemaster III. President Droupadi Murmu and top commanders praised the IAF’s dedication, while a new ensign was unveiled, reflecting its legacy and motto, “Touching the Sky with Glory” (नभः स्पृशं दीप्तम्).
