· India had to be content with a silver medal in the women's compound team and compound mixed team competitions at the World Archery Championships held in South Dakota.
· India's Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Muskan Kirar, and Priya Gurjar, who were part of the women's compound team, had to face each other from Sara Lopez's Colombia team.
· In the compound mixed team final, the Indian team of Jyoti and Abhishek Verma lost to Sara Lopez and Daniel Munoz of Colombia 150-154.
· In the recurve section, Asian powerhouse South Korea won all three gold medals while claiming the title in the women's team, men's team, and mixed team competitions. No Indian team could make it to the medal round in the recurve category.
